Hi y'all!
I'm Jelly Bean! Just like my name, I'm sweet, colourful and full of energy! They think I am about a 9 month old little girl who just loves to play with my foster brother. I follow him everywhere!
I am very expressive when I am happy, my whole bum wiggles! I am some sort of a mix, possibly including Catahoula or Aussie and Beagle….but really, your guess is as good as mine! I weigh almost 50 pounds.
I LOVE to cuddle with my human family members, and I give lots of kisses once I feel comfortable with you. I am a little shy at first, and if I get scared, I will plop my belly to the ground and lose a bit of my bladder control. The more I get comfortable in an environment, the less I do this.
I have no problem whatsoever going and spending time in my crate. It's a good place where I get treats and stuff to chew on. I love to chew! When my foster brother needs a break from all that playing around, I usually get an antler or Nylabone to keep me busy. My foster home has a little bird that flies around sometimes - I find him interesting, but that's it, and I can easily be redirected to focus my attention on other things.
I travel well in the car, and will just take some time to rest or look around. I am starting to learn stuff like sit, shake, and down, but I still need some practice. I get distracted easily! Taking a basic obedience course would help me lots! I am also a bit of a toy hog, and need some practice to learn how to share toys and chew things too!
I am spayed and up-to-date on my shots and microchipped. Do you have lots of love to give and receive? Then maybe I'm the girl for you!
