I’m a sweet and spunky firecracker named Josie. They think I am a Catahoula Beagle mix - I weigh about 20 lbs and am just about full grown (I am around 1 year old).
I just love everyone - people, dogs, and cats included. I just love to give kisses and get pats. I live with a mini schnauzer foster brother and Catahoula foster sister. My foster sister is just my greatest friend! We play play play all day long. I am very curious and just love to play all the time, so my foster mom has puppy proofed her house to keep me safe so I don’t play with the wrong things.
My foster mom tells me I am good on leash, but that sometimes I need to keep walking and keep up with the other dogs. Sometimes I just don’t feel like walking anymore, so I lay down and she has to ask me to keep moving. I am also pretty good off leash because I don’t like to get too far ahead and I often look back and check that she is still there.
I am recently spayed and getting the hang of crate training. I am up to date on all my shots. I will also be microchipped before I go to my forever home.
