Meet Tilly!

Tilly

I’m Matilda, but everyone calls me Tilly. I’m around 60 pounds and red merle Catahoula mix and I am 7 years young.
I love to play and run outside - I still think I'm a young pup! I am quiet in the home and my foster mom says that I am very well behaved. I am a lady and I am fully house trained. I know all the basic obedience commands like sit, down and come. I listen when told no but do follow my nose when there is delicious food around. I'll give you my paw if you give me a treat!

I'm good when left alone – however, an apartment life is probably not the best as I can sing the song of my people for a little while before I settle down and wait patiently for your return. I would love a fenced in yard to call my own and some daily strolls to keep me in shape into my golden years.

Tilly

I have the rough and tough Catahoula play style and have been known to topple over an unsuspecting adult when out playing in the yard. I have lived with children before, but maybe older kids would be best for me. I love people and would not want to bump into any of the smaller ones by accident.

I get along famously with cats and I would love another laid back dog in my new home.

I come from a small town and the sights and sounds of the city are a little foreign to me, but with you to show me the way, I'm sure I could learn to love them. My foster mom says that I am a love bug and I have the best happy dance when she comes home from work each day. If you want to be my snuggle buddy, I would certainly like to meet you.

Tilly is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Meet Peter ADOPTED!

Peter

Peter is an approximately 2 year old brindle male. We have no idea what mix this handsome little dude is - maybe some type of terrier? As a stray, we don't have any background information on Pete but we d know that he is a compact 28 lbs of cuddle. He is easy going and just needs to brush up on some manners and gain some confidence.

Peter LOVES his walks and play time. He adores other dogs, is good with cats, adores treats, snuggles and sleep!

Peter

He is quiet in the house, house broken and had good crate manners once he is in and settled. Peter appears to have had no formal training but is very eager to please and would benefit from obedience classes. We strongly believe that training is an excellent bonding opportunity for dog and new pet owner and this is one smart little guy.

He can be a little bit fearful in new situations but has come leaps and bounds already.

If you are looking for an all round wonderful little boy, Peter is an amazing little companion.

Peter is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Meet Patches - Adopted!

Patches - Adopted

Patches is a wonderful girl, we think she is around 2 years old and our best guess for breed is Australian Shepherd and/or Catahoula mix. She weighs approximately 40 pounds.

Patches is very loving and loves to cuddle up with her fosters. She gets along wonderfully with her foster sister (a Catahoula mix). She can be a bit over zealous in her meetings with other dogs on leash, but her foster family is making some progress on this front. She does best with play dates and good doggy friends.

She is crate trained and house trained. She is learning to run with her foster mom and is a great partner and motivator to get out and hit the trails! She is also a great sous-chef, ready to help clean up any messes in the kitchen!

Patches is spayed, up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

To apply to adopt Patches, please complete the adoption application form. For more information on Patches or any of our other dogs available for adoption, please contact catahoulaontario@gmail.com
