Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Devo, not to be confused with a diva because I am nothing of the sort. I ended up with the name Devo because of my unwavering devotion.
I am a young fellow around 1.5 years. While my spirit is young, I am told I have an old soul. Foster mum says I am deep and wise beyond my years. I often get lots of attention for my handsome physical appearance but mum whispers in my ears that my inner beauty is what has captivated her heart.
My intentions are to make my people happy. I try my best to be behave politely in an outside the house – which I must say is going exceptionally well! I have many attributes that I am proud of. I am housetrained. I walk nicely on the lead and am quite responsive to training. I am currently working on some basic training. I am a smart cookie. I am very eager to please and training is coming along great! I respond very well to positive praise. Treats are great but what I live for is attention and admiration from my humans.
I am wonderful with dogs, cats, and children. My current home has a foster canine brother and a human foster sister. I get along with both very well but I must admit I REALLY love my little foster sister. I would love to have little humans of my very own. I am a very low maintenance lad with many wonderful qualities to share with you.
When mum leaves the house I am crated. I eat twice a day with a little sunflower oil poured on top of my food. I enjoy peanut butter Kongs and for an extra special treat I get bones – these I really enjoy. At night I sleep on the bed with foster mom. I always seem to find the perfect spot molded into her body. I make sure that some part of my body is always touching her, just so she knows I am always there if she needs me.
The other day I was out on the town and I made quite an impression on everyone I met. I am shaping up to be a respectable gentleman. I have such a sunny disposition that attracts people to me… I know, I know…self-praise is no form of recommendation but people tell me this ALL the time! I truly just want to be the best I can be and finally find my fur-ever home.
While my outer beauty may attract you, take the time to let me show you my beautiful inner beauty. Look into my soulful eyes and lets take on the world together. I will follow your lead and stick by you through thick and thin. I am a great listener and will guard your secrets with my life. All I want is you. It does not matter to me if your breath smells in the morning or perhaps you are having a difficult day, I will approach you with understanding and unwavering loyalty – Paw-mise.
